Honest Indian Restaurant

I went in for lunch. I was greeted and seated right away. They have a very organized menu , with pictures, and some of the items have descriptions. My food came quickly and was delicious! I tried some new things and loved it all. Don’t be afraid to try things. It’s all good!

Overall, the experience was decent mainly due to the management. The food tasted good, though many menu items were unavailable, which was disappointing. Otherwise, everything else was satisfactory. Improving hospitality could make this place much better.

Very disappointing experience. The food tasted terrible. Pav Bhaji was bland and seemed to be made with frozen vegetables. I can honestly make better Pav Bhaji at home with fresh ingredients. We ordered milkshakes for the kids and were very disappointed. The taste was terrible, the presentation was poor, and it was served in a plastic cup even though it cost nearly $10. The milkshake was watery and lacked flavor. The sandwich was extremely bland and nowhere near how it used to taste earlier. Considering the quality, the prices are ridiculously high.

Specifically for the Mechanicsburg location. Horrible food quality, taste and service. They changed the recipe or something but the food had no taste or proper flavor whatsoever. We ordered Pav Bhaji and it was basically mashed potatoes with some veggies also mashed with garam masala. I’ve been to other locations and you can’t compare them to this one. We also ordered pulav all you could taste is raw ginger and garlic and black pepper, hardly any salt. The khoya kaju had a somewhat decent taste and the naan was basically rogani naan heated up in a pan with butter. If you’re wanting to get some tasty Indian food this is NOT the place to go. It is a half cooked restaurant, half of the menu is not available. Less staff on the premises makes the wait time 40 mins after placing the order. We ordered indian style pizza, paid in full before dinning. Half way through the dinner, restaurant manager told us pizza isn’t available and he cannot refund us either. Instead he gave us 2 spoons of paneer chilli order. If the staff is incompetent to process a simple refund or deliver only half the menu, restaurant must close as this is unacceptable and ruins the franchise name. We went in with high hopes but came out frustrated and disappointedly hungry.
