As Ms. Houston Real Estate, I’m usually running from showings to meetings, so a quick, healthy lunch in Houston is always necessary. Honest Mary’s in River Oaks Shopping Center is officially in my rotation. It has that build-your-own bowl concept (think Chipotle), but everything tastes noticeably fresher. The grilled chicken was actually moist, not dried out- my biggest gripe with restaurant chicken. The toppings were vibrant, flavorful, and didn’t feel heavy. It’s perfect for a fast, healthy lunch in River Oaks area, especially if you’re working nearby in the Inner Loop. And the shaded patio is a nice bonus when Houston weather cooperates. Absolutely love this place. Patio is super cute! It’s so nice to find a healthy spot that has so many vegan and dairy free options and everything still tastes amazing. The food was fresh and you can tell a lot of care goes into what they make. It’s my new go-to whenever I want something that feels good to eat but is still really satisfying. Highly recommend! 🌱

I have been waiting for this place to open! I got the smoky poblano bowl and added chicken. 🥑 🧅 I also got the chicken sipping broth, 🐔 🍗 & added parsley, lemon, and ginger. 🫚 🍋 🌿 It was delicious. I’m a huge fan of anything with avocado and pickled onion, & goat cheese! Plus, pumpkin seeds are really good for you. I know about the health benefits of drinking bone broth, as it’s a good source of collagen. Excited to have a health forward new restaurant in town! I would definitely check this place. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. My friend did a custom bowl, with beets and broccoli & equally enjoyed it . 🥦 this will be a regular place for me. Bowl plus the 12 oz broth was around $20. For anyone saying it’s expensive, it’s comparable to SweetGreen Prices, Salata, and even Panera the

Absolutely love this new neighborhood staple. Light, bright and clean interiors for dining in and an incredibly easy online ordering and pick up system for take out. The food is fresh, healthy and very tasty. This is going into our regular rotation asap.

Healthy food on the go. All three bowls I had were really good. I’ll be going back again when in the area.
