What a pleasant surprise! From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Ordering was smooth, and everything came out in a timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was flavorful and clearly made fresh. The portions were very generous, and the overall value for the price was excellent—we left feeling full and happy. The restaurant was also clean and comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to enjoy our meal and conversation. Overall, great service, amazing food, and big portions—I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!
✨Popular Opinion: You know it’s going to be a great meal whenever you see James Wang on the paper placemats at any restaurant in the SGV (San Gabriel Valley)✨ Take your taste buds on adventure and experience the rich culture and flavors of Hong Kong in each and every dish (and Iced Lemon Tea!)🫶🏼 First time trying Hong Kong-style Cafe food or don’t know what to get? Order this lineup and thank me later: 🍗Popcorn Chicken 🍤Walnut Shrimp 🥩Selected Steak with Sizzling Plate 🥟Shrimp Wonton Noodle in Soup 🍋Iced Lemon Tea
The foods have been a hit or missed. We have ordered a spicy beef tendons on rice (very good) and fish fillets on rice (very bad), octopus balls (bad), red beans shaved ice(average), beef tongue plate rice(very tough), curry beef brisket(very good),curry pork cutlet (very good), Black peppers steaks stirred fried udon(good), tomato beef on rice ((average), Singapore noodles (excellent). Yes, the no-refills drinks are expensive as half of it is ice cubes. The best way to have a drink is to have it with the weekday only lunch specials. The portion generally are big except the curry beef brisket and tomato beef. Servers were quick and attentive. Not bad for the price.
I’ve been to this place several times, and it never disappoints. First of all, the service is excellent from the moment you walk in, to being seated, to placing the order, everything is smooth and efficient. The food also comes out very quickly. Most importantly, every dish and drink I’ve tried has been delicious. I’ve eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!
I didn't actually eat here but it smells so good. I do plan to later. Really what I wanted to say is that I was treated very nice as I came in. & I love the look. Music fits the culture i don't often see that anymore.
