Stopped by Hong Kong Express in Springfield and it really hit the spot. This is classic Chinese takeout comfort food, generous portions, solid flavors, and quick service. The shrimp lo mein was tasty and filling, with tender shrimp and noodles cooked just right. The chicken with glass noodles was flavorful, especially with The hot and sour soup was so good the pork was incredibly soft and tender, making every bite delicious. Definitely one of my favorite dishes of the meal! 🍲😋 The sweet and sour chicken was a standout, crispy pieces with a bright, tangy sauce that was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too heavy. Classic quick Chinese food. This place is your standard go to when you need a quick Chinese pick-me-up. I ordered the pork fried rice and it was very good and prepared in under 10 minutes. The rice and pork were perfectly cooked and the flavor reminded me of all classic Chinese cuisine. I enjoy that the restaurant is quiet and has ample seating. The service was fast and the interactions with the staff were friendly. I look forward to trying other dishes here.

Avoid at All Costs – Terrible Food and Even Worse Service I really wanted to like this place since I love Chinese food, but this was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. The food was straight-up bad. The chicken was tough and overcooked in spots, the veggies were soggy, and nothing had that fresh, savory taste you expect from decent Chinese takeout or dine-in. Portions felt small for the price too – felt ripped off paying what we did for such low-quality meals. Worse than the food was the customer service. The staff was rude and dismissive from the moment we walked in. Orders were messed up, no apologies, and when we tried to point out issues, we got attitude or ignored.
