Wanted to give a shot out to Aron our waiter of the night. We were celebrating our sisters birthday and were a crowd of 12. He was so patient and kind with us and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Thank you Aron for your wonderful service.

First let me say, me and my partner love dining here at the Kearny hook and reel. I’m not exaggerating when I say we order carry out or dine in at least once a month. We have yet to find a better place that matches the flavor in their seafood boil. However, we were so sad with our last carry out order that we ordered a couple weeks ago. We always do a large boil, and we always get 1 lb of the black mussels. When we received our boil more than half of the mussles were closed (dead/unedible). We were so disappointed. I attempted to reach out to customer service via email and through the app, but unfortunately no response. If I pay for a pound of any kind of seafood I am expecting for the food to be cooked properly and ready to eat. Hence why I decided to leave a review 🥺 I don’t think you’ll

I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the food quality experienced during my visit. After waiting for over an hour for our main courses to arrive, the mussels served were significantly undercooked. In any professional kitchen, an hour-long lead time followed by the delivery of raw or under-processed seafood is a failure. Undercooked shellfish poses a direct health risk to consumers, and seeing this pass through the line and onto our table is unacceptable. We had high expectations, but the combination of poor timing and unsafe food preparation is something I cannot overlook. I hope the management reviews their line-check protocols and ticket-timing iimmediately to prevent a repeat of this incident.

Service was AMAZING!!! Our server Cali was the best. Very outgoing and genuinely loved talking with us. Food was fresh and delicious. I recommend getting the garlic butter sauce with your boil. 10/10 would come again!

Food was delicious! We had the season garlic butter ! And it was Amazing! Drinks were good as well, loved everything ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ YANNI was amazing! She helped us out all the time!
