Hops Burger Bar

Came here alone on a business trip after reading good reviews. The atmosphere is great. It was busy but I sat at the bar since I was solo. Grabbed a beer, and looked at a wide array of burger choices. I got the French onion burger, which came with caramelized onions, gruyere cheese, and garlic aioli. I ordered it medium, with fries and coleslaw. I'm not kidding when I say everything I got was fantastic, especially the burger. It was cooked excellent, a little south of medium but just how I like it. (It looks more pink in the picture than it really was). Overall, the burger really highlighted the beef, it wasn't overly strong in any element, but was super flavorful from the toppings. The jus was thickened, more like a gravy, quite mild and delicious with the burger. The fries were great,

Came in with my friends on New Year’s Day for my first visit, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The food and service were excellent—friendly, quick, and super welcoming from start to finish. I ordered the Hops Classic Burger but swapped it for a turkey patty, and it turned out perfect. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Great vibe, great food, great people. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

I try to come to this place at least once a month even though I moved from Greensboro to Raleigh a few years ago. AMAZING meals. I've tried every burger place in Raleigh and can't find anyone that can match the quality. Super delicious and the staff always take great care of us.

We come often and enjoy our time! A solid place for a burgers and beers… and the wings sauces especially the blue cheese is awesome too!! Great fries choices! It feels like they could make it a bit better tables and could improve that as a more comfortable experience and the outdoor area is ok…lacks the atmosphere… unclean old plants and dirty curtains and tables aren’t best for the vibe. Service is great but they seem rushed and unhappy… maybe they need another runner on staff or something… parking sucks but that’s usually for an urban area.

This is by far one one the best burgers ive had in quite some time. The fries are crispy and cooked perfect. Didn't even finish half my beer before my food was ready. The bar is clean and well tended. The hosts make it welcome. Good job guys
