Hot Pancakes

Great selection and prices this great value. I enjoyed the grilled pork chops with okra and mashed potatoes with gravy. The meat lovers was too salty. The pancake and biscuit were a little under cooked. Will return.

Have been coming here a while. It has always been good with omelets and chicken fried chicken with eggs. Waffles are good . Pancakes are decent. I decided to try something different and went with the catfish. The plate looked decent but eating it was difficult. In fact I only ate one of the fish since it was kind of mushy inside. I’d say stay away from the fish and stick with the name plates.

I typically love the hole-in-wall cafes and restaurants. I tried the chicken fried chicken and eggs with blueberry pancakes. The chicken portion was pretty small and almost tasted like the frozen CFC. Wasn't a big fan of the pancakes either. Especially when they charge you $3 to add blueberries to them. The eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash-browns were all good though. Might try again if I'm ever in that area again. First impression was a 5/10.

I ordered Philly cheese steak omelette and an english muffin with fruit cup. The food was made with fresh ingredients and was so delicious. The staff was sweet and professional with all the regulars and that came to eat. I love the look of the diner and quick service. Just know that you pay without a check and just go up to the register. I will be back again.

Great place for breakfast. It isn’t a luxury experience per se but for me the appeal is in the simplicity. The staff is friendly but not overbearing. They genuinely seem like warm, friendly people and the hospitality doesn’t seem forced. The mural (painting) of Dallas gives the restaurant a lot of vibe. It’s a small town American Diner that lives in the city. The biscuits are the closest I’ve had to true southern style biscuits since I left my hometown. At checkout I was glad to see that the credit card screen did not push me to tip. There were 2 options “No Tip” and “Custom Tip”. That is beautifully unusual at a full service restaurant in a time when even the worst fast food places push for 20%+ tips and make you carry your own food to the table. 🍔🍟🥪🍳🥞☕️🍽️
