Houlihan's

Decent meal as we were in the area after visiting Chanhassen dinner theater. We started with a dinner salad and cup of French onion soup before our entrees. Both were good. We also had the meatloaf and chicken finger entree. Meatloaf was ok, was a little bland in flavor. Chicken fingers were standard. Portion was huge, almost to big. Scott was our server and he was great, very nice.

I stopped here on Thanksgiving for a couple of drinks and to watch football. I hadn't been here in quite a while, but it was one of the few places open. I quickly realized it was a good decision as the ambience was very nice. The bartender, Jake, took great care of me. It was very warm and cozy and the music was just right. The TVs were also perfect. The entire staff seemed extremely nice. Since I had that experience, I will definitely be going back more often!

I was out venturing around and pulled up Google and saw this was close. Being a day off that I rarely get, I treated myself to a nice lunch. The server Rachel was very delightful. Was there when I needed her, food got to me promptly, and was very friendly and helpful. My drink, the madre, was done perfectly. So many times people make them with too much orange juice or too much cranberry, but this was just right. The spinach dip was very good. The chips were so light. You just couldn't stop eating them just enough salt without being overbearing. When I got my main course, the filet Mignon was well seasoned. It was more towards the medium instead of medium-rare, which was a little disappointing. But I wasn't going to send back that costly piece of meat. The asparagus was delish, seasoned

We spent the Thanksgiving Day watching football and enjoying ourselves at the Chanhassen Houlihan's which was open from 11:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Had the traditional Thanksgiving plate with turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and I chose macaroni and cheese instead of vegetables. Portion was perfect and nothing short of exceptional. With that came a dessert. Toward the later part of the afternoon I ordered a burger and fries for dinner as I was concerned there would be none left of the Thanksgiving special as the place was quite busy the entire day. The bartender was great and was always on top of things. Recently had dinner here at the bar and another 5 stars...thanks

Service has always been slow here, so ive come to expect & accept it, but today was unbelievable. Long waits for everything from start to finish. Soup was just warm. Not lukewarm, but definitely not hot. It was nearly impossible to flag down the server for a drink refill. Not their fault, since they were the only one serving, but where was the manager? I saw her carry a single bowl of soup once, to the bar side that our server was also covering. We thought things would start moving when we saw more staff arrive, but that didn't happen. The bill was wrong. Twice. We werent offered any kind of discount. We were never rude or had unreasonable requests. After coming here over 10 years, this was absolutely the last. You had multiple opportunities to redeem yourselves and missed every single one
