House of Gyros

Ate here today, it was so good! It's drive thru only. The hubs and I each got a gyro, fries and a drink. The gyro was one of the best ones we've had. Lots of meat and sauce. The fries were delicious, perfectly cooked and salted. Everything was nice and hot. The drinks are huge! Would definitely come again when we are back down here.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but what it lacks in charm it makes up for in delicious food. Truth be told, I wouldn't have stopped here if it hadn't been for the suggestions from several locals. It looks abandoned from the outside. I had the gyro plate which was excellent. Good amount of flavor and a lot of meat. The tzatziki sauce is unique and one of the most flavorful that I have ever had. Absolutely worth the price. The fries were also good.

Gyro platter and fries were great. A lot Of meat and garnish, so perhaps a second pita could be helpful. Platter came with Feta cheese and Tzatziki sauce. Great value for the price.

Food was made to order and the fries were great. I got the chicken sandwich and it was bland. Store bought patty on a dry bun, but it was worth a shot. You never know with places in Decatur. My boyfriends got a Gyro and fries and his gyro was great. Will go back and try another item, because I always hear good things! There’s not really any good signage, so it looks sketchy, but that’s where all the best food comes from 😂 And here is a picture of the menu bc I couldn’t ever find one. ☺️
