Tried to give benefit of the doubt despite last year. However this is what I received when asking for inspo (second to last picture). The one thing I emphasized the day I ordered was the color. They explained that it won’t be exact which I was fine with but I wanted a similar muted green and dusty orange for the designs and beige for the base. They had specifically clarified “orange with some brown in it”. I got a bright green and pink designed cake on a yellowy base. The accuracy to design was better than last year. They had also asked what kind of writing I would like on the top (specified if i wanted dotted or regular piping) and while I requested dotted piping of the number 19, the day I went to pickup it was in regular piping. I wasn’t sure where to go to get my son’s birthday cake because he wanted a specific character that isn’t very popular. I’m so grateful I found this bakery, it truly felt like God led me to the right place. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to decorate my son’s cake exactly how he wanted it. We absolutely loved the cake, and it made his day so special. Thank you so much!”

This place is an absolute joke. My girlfriend came here to buy me a princess cake for my bday. The only cake I like. She had never seen a real princess cake before. She called on the phone and asked if they had princess cake. The woman on the phone said yes. So my gf came in and they sold her a completely different cake. The next night when I saw the cake, I noticed immediately it wasn’t a princess cake. So we both went back to the bakery and brought the wrong cake we were sold. We kindly tried to explain the situation and immediately the girl shut us down and got defensive and refused to give us a refund. They in fact do not have princess cake but are selling their own version of princess cake and passing it off as the real thing. The owner (I presume) came out and proceeded to argue with

We went to House of Pastry requesting a custom cake, clearly showing them an inspiration picture and asking if they could replicate it exactly. They confidently said yes, but when we picked up the cake, it was a completely different color. Instead of admitting the mistake, they tried to gaslight us into believing it was the same color. I showed them the original picture on my phone, and they claimed the difference was due to my "dark screen." I then showed them the same picture on a brighter screen, and they still insisted it was identical. For clarity: the inspiration photo had a toned-down color, while the cake they made was a bright pastel orange. The color would have been fine if that's what I had asked for, but it was not. I’ve been going to the house of pastry since my little girl was eight years old and making beautiful cakes exactly the way she wanted today is her 22nd birthday and she wanted a cake from the house pastry not knowing that the business has been sold to someone else thinking that the cake would come out the same. They charged me $215. I showed them a picture of a cake. They told me that they could make the exact cake when I went to pick it up. The Cake must’ve weighed 70 pounds. And halfway home, the Cake collapsed and ruined my new tan interior in my brand new car. Do not make your birthday cakes. Even their cookies are terrible. Do not ever go to House of Pastry ever again they are a rip off. I called them and they told me that it was my fault. All I did was drive home safely with the air-
