Hudson House

We took advantage of their Happy Hour and each enjoyed three martinis, all delicious. Started our meal with half a dozen of assorted oysters, which were quite good. I ordered my steak rare and it was cooked to perfection. After requesting extra-crispy fries, Hudson House delivered. Special thanks to Rhett for his attentive service. Lobster mac and cheese was scrumptious and cheeseburger was a steal at $10. We truly appreciated the complimentary dessert for our wedding anniversary, thank you again. Would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Came here for lunch. The building used to be a Twin Peaks and Hudson House completely remodeled the interior. The decor is nice with an upscale and subtle nautical feel. And the interior is now a little lighter and brighter inside. The food was good, but the flavors are not necessarily something that we would crave and we could find something similar elsewhere for a little less money. The French chicken was full of flavor but the chicken breast was very thin. It looks like you get two halves, but the halves are thin like they shaved off a layer of breast. The chicken was overpriced. The cheeseburger was good, but there are many burger places that make awesome burgers for the same price or less. The dynamite shrimp appetizer was full of flavor and came with 8 shrimp. Popcorn chicken was ok.

For the price of the food, this isn't a good place to eat. Food takes a while to make. Although the presentation of the food was nice, the flavor and lack of seasoning were very plain and underwhelming. This is supposed to be an upscale place with great food, but a fast-food restaurant has better seasoning and flavor profiles than here. They sound good on the menu but they're actually not great.

I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on this place - I pass it every week and had never been. It was AMAZING! I had the Mac and cheese and salmon and it was in the top 2 or 3 best salmon I’ve ever had in my life. The Mac and cheese was delicious!! My friend had the fish tacos, which looked more like a burrito and it was incredible. I can’t wait to go again!

Hudson House is hands-down one of my favorite happy hour spots. The oysters are always a must — fresh, East Coast selections for just $3 each with multiple options to choose from. Pair that with their half-off martinis (lemon drop is my favorite) or frozen bellinis and you’re already off to a great start. We also ordered their famous cheeseburger and WOW — this is not your typical burger. It’s a double patty with their secret sauce and pickles, served with the most perfectly seasoned pickle sphere on the side that just makes the presentation feel elevated.
