Hudsons on the River

We had a reservation and were seated right away, which was great. Unfortunately, after being seated we waited about 7 minutes without being acknowledged. During that time another couple was seated nearby and had their drink order taken within a couple of minutes while we were still waiting. Eventually another waitress noticed us and said she would get our server. Our waiter came after that, and by then we had already decided what we wanted. Service throughout the night felt a bit off. Our appetizer took a long time and actually arrived after our dinner. The meal also came out with the wrong sides after I had requested a change when the item I originally wanted (prime rib) was no longer available. We also weren’t really checked on during the meal and had to flag someone down to fix the ord

We had lunch at Hudson’s last Tuesday and what great time we had. Dog friendly is a big plus for Murphy, my now 1 year old IW. The service was excellent. We ordered Fried Calamari, the best in Stuart, and we split the Cuban sandwich. Murphy loved the fries. Planning a return trip this Sunday for brunch.

Service staff needs to be trained on customer service. The decor is beautiful but it was dead on Sunday and it might just have something to do with manager standing around chatting with bartenders instead of walking around to see how customers are doing. Some customers were seen unattended for 20mins before order was taken. I waited 15mins at the bar that only had 3 guests. Another thing the gratuity is already added to the check so that might be the reason for the lack of service. “Im getting paid either way so who really cares” the good thing is these workers lack stability so this place might find better workers.

This was our second visit to Hudson’s! And it was much better! The food was well presented and very very tasty! Drinks and atmosphere nice as well and our server was so nice with a great smile and chatty nature! Great service!

Hudson on the River offers a great overall experience with delicious food, excellent drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere. The cocktails are well-crafted and refreshing, and the bartender is extremely friendly, personable, and welcoming, which really makes the visit special. Combined with attentive service and a relaxing waterfront view, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy a quality meal and drinks. Highly recommended.
