Came when it was slow but the service was great and fast, fresh ingredients and pizza made right in front of your face with open brick oven and bar. Very cool modern subway vibe great for date nights. Small but perfect portion for personal pizza and very affordable. Caprese salad was phenomenal and the sauce was delicious.

I highly recommend this place for brunch. The casual vibe, great tasting food with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, delicious coffee and tea, kombuchas, including local rotating kombuchas, all make for a great experience. One of our orders was the biscuits and gravy with shiitake bacon instead of sausage crumbles in the gravy. You would not believe it, but the shiitake bacon tastes just like bacon. Overall, this is a five out of five experience. Must visit when in Gainesville.

Their wood-fired pizza is the star of the show, with a perfect balance of crispy, slightly charred crust and fresh, flavorful toppings. Each bite has that distinct smokiness you can only get from a true wood-fired oven. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients, and the care they put into their food really shines through. A great place to relax, eat well, and savor great pizza in a lovely setting.

There are delicious vegan options for pizza, appetizers, coffee desserts here. We enjoyed tasty vegan fungi pizza, fried tofu with mustard sauce, house made Italian soda water with tropical flavor, espresso, cafe con leche, pistachio tarte, and vegan chocolate peanut butter pie.

I LOVE Humble Wood but was super disappointed I paid almost $10 for a tiny piece of “buckeye peanut butter pie”. I’ve ordered the carrot cake moon pie before and it was a normal portion. Bummed to splurge on their most expensive desert for just a few bites. Ordered for delivery and looks nothing like the photo they have posted.
