Hungry Howie's Pizza

So disappointed tonight, cooking for Thanksgiving so to keep everyone out of the kitchen, we ordered pizza delivered. It was too overcooked to eat. We usually love HH.

I use to years ago go to the Edgewater, Florida location next to New Smyrna Beach. This location in Alabaster brought back memories. The pizza was great. There's something I really like about the sauce and dough crust. I use go to a pizza restaurant growing up called "Dino's" and the sauce was similar. The taste of oregano or herbs it's plump and thick tomatoes base makes it delicious. I'd say Hungry Howie ingredients are universal supplied by the company. I like the sauce better than Domino's.

I walked in excited to get a sub, I have always liked Hungry Howies. There were 3 employees “working”. They passed me by multiple times never asking if they could help me or take my order. Finally one of them just looked at me and said “Name?”. I told him I hadn’t placed an order yet and he sighed and walked off. I finally ordered a large sub with 3 toppings, and he repeated it back to me. After this the order was still wrong. Just an overall bad experience. I will not be returning.

Called in an order, had to prompt the person taking the order to speak up and list some choices. Person was not friendly and not helpful. He never got a name and hung up on me. I understand the trials of owning a business and who is willing to work, but respect and accommodation is free. Because of the lack of accommodation, and specifically any form of respect, I will no longer use Hungry Howies as a go too.

The pizza used to be really good, but after this time, I will not be returning. I ordered butter cheese crust and the crust wasn't flavored at all. It was very dry and tasted of cardboard. Howie bread was extremely burnt and tasted of stale dry bread. It sad when the best part of the meal is the 2 liter bottle of diet pepsi. Nearly 40 dollars down the drain.
