Hungry Howie's Pizza

I got the Pizza in a bowl (Howies Special) for myself and a large cheese pizza for my kids. Both were delicious. I live an hour away but it has gave me a craving for it. So this will be a place I frequent as much as I can. Alissa was the only one there at the time. She took our order over the phone then made the pizza and was the one who handed it to us. Very friendly, phenomenal with making the pizza and my daughter said she was beautiful and sweet. We will be back. If you want great pizza and great service... run to Hungry Howies!!!

I ordered two pizzas, both large, one of them was a barbecue chicken pizza. I requested to substitute black olives for bacon. The substitution was not made. There is still bacon on this pizza, and the pieces are too tiny to remove, to be eaten by a person who is allergic to pork. I reported the error and took the pizza back. They made me a new one but they argued with me over what I had told them. Bad customer service if nothing else. We are not going back there.

I've had two great pizzas from this place, but the service can be inconsistent and make ordering a pizza feel more tedious than it should. Had an experience previously where it felt like the person taking my order had no clue what I was talking about and had no interest in helping me. I've had time to reflect and actually been able to order my preferred pizza, so I will say overall the food is good, but the service is a mixed bag with some nice and helpful people and some people who have no clue what's going on.

Ordering online was a breeze! I loved how easy it was to customize my pizza with all the options they offer. I ordered a cheese pizza with banana peppers and garlic crust, and it was cooked perfectly crispy… just the way I like it. My only critique is that the dough could be thicker, especially considering the prices. Overall, a solid experience, and I’m looking forward to trying other items on their menu in the future!

HAVE YOU TRIED THE GARLIC CRUST! this pizza is so good it might be the best in town. I love all of the different options they have, but my favorite is probably just the classic pepperoni with cheese crust.
