Husson's Pizza - South Charleston

While visiting WVA my wife and I stopped by Husson's Pizza - South Charleston to try one of their pizza's. This was our first time at Husson's Pizza and I haven't seen any of these out west where I live so, it was a new experience for us. The prices are good, the food, service, and the employees were awesome!

After having a terrible experience with Gino’s pizza in Dunbar. I got a pizza from here. It was hot tasty and the staff was super friendly. The lady that was the manager on duty was very accommodating, even after there was a mishap with their online ordering. They have been having trouble with their Internet due to work on the road crossing at Jefferson.? The pizza was awesome! Keep up the good work!

Ordered pizza and cheese sticks for takeout. They were ready for pick up within about 10 minutes. Some of the best pizza I've had in a while. Their bread is delicious. I like that they have those mini 6" pizzas, avoids ending up with too much food. They also have a big menu with lots to choose from. (gluten free options, veggie/vegetarian and thin crust).

I don’t know how many times we’ve driven by Hussons and never stopped. Now, we have a new pizza spot. We ordered a big coupon deal for the Superbowl and they were nice enough to change the pepperoni to sausage for.me since I don’t like pepperoni. I think the salad was my favorite part. A ton of cheese with crisp, fresh lettuce, peppers, tomatoes and ham. The pizza reminded me of Costco’s pizza and I’m not saying that’s a bad thing at all because that’s actually what I miss the most about not having a Costco in WV. Anyway, we’ll be back to try some sandwiches pretty soon.

My father’s family is from Clarksburg, WV; I grew up on Italian food. My wife is Italian. The upshot is, we know pizza, and Hudson’s really has the goods. And what’s also amazing is they text me weekly with offers and contacts. Today I won a large pizza and for free it was AMAZING. The right balance of sauce, semolina and toasted crust. And to boot, the most polite place in a world where businesses try to get you in and get you out. FINAL SUMMATION: We’re going back and eating their food with a bottle of good Bardolino.
