Hy-Vee Bakery

I’m a bit of a bakery snob, coming from Europe, but this bakery is pretty good! I love the fresh bread with authentic harder crusts, and the fancier types of pastries. Staff is always very nice as well! I also love that this bakery department is actually bigger/has more variety than the much bigger store at Crosspark!

So we picked up a Strawberry Rhubarb pie for our Christmas celebration. Imagine our surprise when we cut it and it was you know, Cherry. No one in the family likes cherry- so that is a crappy surprise at 8 pm on Christmas eve. Please take more care when packaging and labeling especially since people could have food allergies.

Britni did a fantastic job on our wedding cake! She helped us make a custom design for a very fair price. It tasted delicious, too!

Excellent food and great staff! Thank you so much! We took the 19.99 Feed 4 Asian menu that was simply great. Beautifully cooked, huge entrees, amazing. In comparison: yesterday we ate at a Chinese Restaurant, paid more than double of it, and the food was disappointing! Also the bar tender was great. Thank you again!

They have a wide variety of sweet treats available at the bakery counter especially cakes, munchkins, cupcakes etc. Other than that they have great bakers who can bake cake according to your need & occasion! Usually cakes & cupcakes have the seasonal decorations. They have plain cakes always available which makes it easy if you wanna grab a cake in last minute!
