Hydrangea House Inn

We spent four nights in the Oak Suite just before Christmas. A memorable stay in all respects. The room was very large with a canopied king bed. Each breakfast was different and delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

Our first time at a bed and breakfast. Glad we chose this Inn. We had a great time! Beautiful and cozy decor. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was beautiful. Kim was an amazing host. She was very friendly and attentive. The wine and cheese social hour were one of the highlights of the trip. Delicious cheese and wine selection served daily. Optional turn down service in the evening. They will make your bed and leave a treat behind 🙂. Great location...walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. Kim, the innkeeper, is just delightful. We’ve stayed in two of her inns and it’s just the best. The breakfast was superb, the room was gorgeous, and they brought fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening. We didn’t partake in the wine and cheese social but I’m sure it was just as wonderful. My husband and I have found our new getaway spot.

Beautiful and well appointed in every manner, the Hydrangea House Inn is the perfect place for an anniversary getaway. It is walkable to the wharfs and downtown areas, next door to the art museum, and right on the main bus line. The staff is incredible paying attention to every detail. Breakfast, included w the room, was incredible. This isn't a budget hotel, but if you're looking for a luxurious stay, you'll not find anything more affordable while having all the features of an exclusive resort.

Great weekend winter getaway location for Newport. The Inn is a charming, communal place to stay- a perfect retreat from big city life. Amazing location means you can walk to all places for lunch, dinner and water views. We walked everywhere, including to the Breakers and the Cliff Walk. It's the small details that make a difference and my travel partner receiving a dairy free breakfast each morning without being reminded was evidence of their attention to detail. The breakfast was amazing and the Happy Hour wine and cheese and cookie at turndown were great gestures. We stayed in Room 11, which while cosy and warm, was quite noisy for brief periods at night with guests returning through the back door and one the kitchen started up in the morning.
