Iao Valley Inn

We had a wonderful stay here. The breakfast was excellent. The place is located in Iao Valley, not by the ocean, but it is very quiet and truly unique. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept really well. The location is great too — it’s convenient to drive almost anywhere on Maui. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay in the Cottage at Iao Valley Inn. The Cottage has a full kitchen with a dishwasher. The shower has a wonderful river pebble rock floor. The livingroom area is comfortable, as well as the lanai seating. The King size bed is very comfortable too. There is air conditioning, but we never needed to turn it on, the ceiling fans were all we needed - it never got to be too hot during our stay. You can eat inside, or outside at the lanai table. There is a clothes washer and dryer in a closet area outside the back door. The private side yard is spacious and great for sunning if staying in for the day. On top of all that, the hot tub/jacuzzi is private and only for the Cottage. There is also a nice gazebo off the side yard which is used for massages - which they have contact

Beautiful, unique location in central Maui, great access point for embarking on trips to all parts of the island or exploring what the sacred Iao Valley has to offer. Tamara is a wonderful host. Would love to return one day.

We had the pleasure of staying at the cottage for our wedding celebration and included our family who stayed in the Orchid and Palms suites. As locals, we love coming up to Iao and we found our stay at Iao Valley Inn to be so serene and peaceful. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and at night it is rare to hear a single thing outside, giving us the most restful sleep. Our family enjoyed the continental breakfast provided in the two suites and loved all the fresh fruit they had. Our cottage had all the necessities to cook our own meals and we felt like every detail from the kitchen to the bathroom was carefully thought of. We had such a wonderful stay and recommend it to all of our friends and family.

It was our first time to stay at Iao Valley Inn, and we already want to go back. Every day I looked forward to our breakfast treat: tropical fruit from their farm, juice, yummy baked goods, and other surprises. Every night we slept with the windows open, the sound of moving water lulling us to sleep. (Only in Hawaii, right?) The Orchid Room where we stayed was a comfortable space, a true tropical retreat surrounded by colorful art and designs. A small hike to the farm and the Wailuku River is a must, especially to the exclusive waterfall! It's a fantastic way to escape the tourist crowd.
