Ichiban Hibachi Steak House & Sushi Bar_ Grand Parkway

Wonderful experience. Excellent chef, food, and manager! The sushi roll - Fantasy roll was sooo good! All our hibachi was fantastic! And was so impressed that they do hibachi noodles too, that was our first! The place is very modern and clean. Highly recommend!

From start the manager opened the door for us and greeted us with a big smile, then the waitress came with a big smile, very calm and sweet service, food was the cherry on the top, outstanding.

This sushi spot is an absolute gem. The fish is incredibly fresh, the rolls are perfectly balanced, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The menu has a great mix of classic favorites and creative options, so there’s something for everyone. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still feels special. Easily one of the best sushi experiences, will definitely be back.

We plan not to go back here anymore. The tempura looks good in the picture but in person it looks like this. It’s near to burned tempura. Tha katsudon is fried egg on top! Gyoza is dry . For the cook, kindly research on how it suppose to be. Do not but Katsudon when its gonna be a pork with fried egg on top. For the owner, just focus on the cooking show instead on the restaurant. Make the place bigger for restaurant show. It’s not a japanese restaurant.

Went to eat here yesterday 12/2 for a birthday & sat in the dining room. Peter took amazing care of us. He made not only the birthday girl feel special but the rest of us as well! He was amazing & the food was amazing as always. Be sure to ask for Peter when you go to Ichiban in Katy!!
