Ichiban Sushi Asian Bistro

Stopping in for the first time while passing through from Atlanta, Ichiban Sushi Asian Bistro was a pleasant surprise—especially for a quick to-go order. The vegetable stir fry was fresh, colorful, and cooked just right. The vegetables still had a nice bite, the sauce was well-balanced (not overly salty or heavy), and it felt like a wholesome, satisfying dish rather than an afterthought. You can tell care was taken even though it was prepared for takeout, which I always appreciate. The spring rolls were delicious—crispy on the outside, hot and flavorful on the inside, and clearly made fresh. They only get a 4 stars because of the bathrooms being out of order and open - it was a little weird! Buuuuuuut the restaurant itself was wonderful. The food was good, the drinks were strong, the place was clean, the environment was friendly, and Chole gives amazing service and a strong drink lol. Now let's address the other reviews, my first impression of this place 2 years ago was not that great, but giving them another shot was worth it and I sat at the bar solo without my newborn and my former lmao. (We still love that person) And now I love this place lol - I will be returning. I ordered the Margarita (classic), Seafood Gyoza, Surf and Turf roll, Thai Drunken Noodle-Chicken.

Went Twice so far, got the Hibachi NY steak medium rare, was cooked perfectly & tasted great. Second time I got the Hibachi Salmon, Skin was crispy & Salmon was good. Good portions 😁 Both times I also had Maki Salmon avocado, Tuna Avocado & yellowtail scallion rolls. Was great & fresh with fantastic plating, & was nicely sized pieces. Only complaint would be the Miso soup, quite salty both times. I went on a Wednesday night & then a Tuesday afternoon, so I'm not sure how packed it gets on weekends.

We had a wonderful lunch! We got the lobster garden roll, Annapolis roll and surf and turf roll! All three were very delicious and we were stuffed afterwards :) We will absolutely be back for a dinner to try their other menu items. They had a great range of different east asian meals ranging for Cantonese, Thai and Japanese.

When I read the reviews, I was a little nervous, but I’m so glad I gave this place a chance! The food was fantastic—great Asian fusion dishes with so much flavor. I especially loved the sushi; it was super fresh and delicious. The manager and staff were so friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Definitely worth the visit.
