IHOP

The IHOP which recently opened on route 9 in freehold is a breath of fresh air. Look for the value special. $7.00 for a very large portion . All the servers are efficient. When you get there, ask for Jake, he’s a great server. A young guy working hard for a minimum wage. Oh, and the pancakes are scrumptious!

I had a very poor experience at this location. Upon walking in we encountered an old waitress with tattoos (later found out her name was Denise) being very nasty to older customers. She was treating them as if they were less than and completely lacked basic human respect. In addition to this, she didn’t write our order down and of course got a part of it wrong. I was charged extra for something I didn’t even order. A friend I was with ordered a combo and in the menu it said it could be upgraded to include pancakes. She ended up charging us an extra $9 for pancakes even though she initially agreed it would be an upgrade. The toast came out and it uncannily resembled a brick. While staying at the Red Roof Inn, on Route 9 North, I ordered from I Hop, Route 9 south 3.2 mils from here, both times, 1st time on Saturday the Jan 17 th 2nd time on Monday the 19th ordered the BeIgian Waffle Combo. Although good it came cold. I left specific instructions about delivery to my room 121, " i have a large dog in room, and said call and I will come out. 1st driver, I watched on map as she got lost and when she got here it was a good thing I was outside. She was going to deliver my order to a room 5 doors down. 2nd driver did call but from a totally different area of Hotel he said im here and I called because of dog, apparently he didn't read the room number. What was really funny was his name and he would be delivering on a bicycle. He had a car. My order was cold again

Great, friendly place. The pancakes were hard like shoe leather, though. Maybe too long under a heat lamp? They didn't skimp on the butter, though, so they had me there.

Went there for breakfast and was fortunate enough to get a lil extra from the cook in plate (hair) I noticed it half way thru my breakfast. Which ruined my experience and was grossed out and yes I was charged for meal. Absolutely gross and I sent a complaint to corp and local management never contacted me . Would avoid at all cost.
