IL Piccolo Morso

This was a very nice restaurant with great service and food. The meals were pricey (seafood pasta & pesto gnocchi) but worth it in my opinion. Unsure if the waiter was joking or serious when he said the dessert was straight from Italy, but it’s identical to another lemon cake dessert served at another restaurant I frequent. They don’t provide you with complimentary bread nor give you a lot with your meal, we had to order more. I would go again but not frequently.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food was absolutely delicious, the service was stellar, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The steak my friend ordered melted in my mouth, and my mushroom ravioli was plate-licking good! 🍷 Our wine was wonderful too. I honestly don’t know why anyone would give this restaurant less than 5 stars. If you’ve been on the fence about trying it, go for it—you won’t regret it! It has officially become my favorite restaurant in the downtown Leonardtown area. Thank you for such an amazing experience! 🙏🏼

Went to Il Piccolo yesterday on a casual date with my husband. We don’t eat out often but this is our go to in town. As always the food was delicious. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The lasagna was a heaping portion with the perfect amount of cheese to meat to pasta ratio. My husband enjoyed his seafood medley pasta special (forgot the name of the dish). I don’t eat seafood but it looked amazing. Our waiter was attentive, funny and made the experience enjoyable! I’m not sure if the woman working there is the owner or manager but she greets us every time we’re there and is genuinely thankful for the patrons. Looking forward to our next visit!

We just had the most incredible meal here. The shrimp scampi with homemade pasta was the best I've ever had. The pasta was like none other! Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended! We will be back in a regular basis.

Update: 11/15/24 We've been going here less frequently lately because the food and service haven't met our expectations, especially considering the price. Last weekend, my wife and I went out to dinner and the service was exceptionally slow. Our drinks arrived well after the appetizer, and then our dinner came an hour later. I ordered the special, a bone-in pork chop over spaghetti, which was so salty I could barely eat it. I think we're done going here. Absolutely loved the food and drinks! Staff was friendly and service was wonderful! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.
