This is my go to spot in Kew Gardens. Tony is a great guy. Always friendly and remembers his customers. When my family visits from out of state, I always make sure to take them to meet Tony and try some of his delicious food!
I didn’t have cash so the owner offered to give the food for free and asked I pay back the next day, which was very kind of him. Anyways I agreed since they don’t accept card or Apple Pay, but after trying the food I was very disappointed. It had too much white sauce I could barely taste the rice and chicken, he only filled half of the box and barely gave food, and worst of all I had very bad stomach pain and diarrhea later on. Makes me wonder if he was being kind or only offered to give free food because the food was spoiled and he would trash it anyways. I'm not going back there again.
This place is a gem!!! I visited family in NYC a couple of months back and came here. I will 1000% be back. You will not be disappointed. Make sure you have cold hard cash on you, no venmo or any of that accepted here (not a knock just advice) Tony is THE man. 10/10
