Customer Reviews
My family and I had a really good dining experience at this place. We went after Christmas and despite the place being packed, they were able to accommodate us without a reservation (We just got lucky). The staff was very nice and accommodating. We wanted to try the roast duck which was the most recommended dish on the internet about this place but we found out that we had to have called ahead of time and place an order. They did try and see if we can still get it but they didn't have enough stock to serve an unexpected order which is fine. The next best thing they recommended was the Sweet & Sour Mandarin Fish. Boy was it amazing! It was the perfect blend of sweet and sour. I've had sweet and sour dishes before that can go overboard with the sweet that it makes the dish difficult to fin
We made a reservation which is recommended especially if you want Peking duck. The Peking duck was done well crispy and it came with the pancakes to roll up. This place has a heavy Szechuan flavor, especially the mapo tofu dish. Some of the dishes I enjoyed were the green beans, stir fried cabbage, and razor clams. The razor clam had a really spicy chili pepper on top so I’d recommend taking some of it off if you can’t handle super spicy. Service was ok for the price point, we asked for extra utensils and it took a while.
This place is a bit tucked away and not very obvious from the main road. You’ll need to walk down a small side path to find the entrance, but once you do, it’s definitely worth it. If you’re planning to get the Peking duck, I’d recommend reserving it ahead of time. You can also call right when they open at 11am to place an order. The food has been consistently good, and this was already my second visit. Dishes came out fairly quickly, and everything tasted solid. It’s a great spot for a casual meal with family or friends, and I can see myself coming back again in the future.
Went their for our Christmas Eve dinner. The Beijing duck taste good and flavorful. All of their other dishes taste good as well. Service was friendly and providing recommendation when we ask. They also take feedback as we finished and ask if the food taste good which is a nice gesture. Will definitely be back.
I came for the soup dumplings and they did not disappoint. We ordered ahead Peking Duck. Crispy and carved tableside, it's a real treat. Each dish that passes by was beautiful. I can't wait to come back!
