I’d wanted to visit this av-geek-acclaimed In-N-Out location for ages. On a handy layover from London to Hawaii, I stopped by specifically to watch the jet planes very close up and have a delicious burger. Did both. This branch sits right under the LAX flight path, with planes coming in low and frequently, easy to see from the outdoor tables, the car park and the grass island over the road. I ordered a Double-Double, Animal Style fries and the secret Neapolitan shake. Everything came out hot and fresh, with the order ready in minutes. The line turned over quickly, and despite how busy it was the staff were friendly and efficient throughout. The burger was really good, fries loaded and hot, and the shake thick and deliciously mixed. I walked over from LAX in about 30 minutes, doable, but

In-N-Out by LAX is a must if you’ve got time to kill. The staff are genuinely friendly and move fast without rushing you. Love that they cover the fries with a napkin to keep them warm, small detail, big difference. And you can’t beat the location. Right by the runway threshold, so you’re eating a Double-Double while jets scream overhead. Burgers and plane spotting? Perfect combo.

This is my go-to when I fly in and out (pun intended) of the Los Angeles area! It’s close to the airport hotels and the line moves through super efficiently given the large amount of visitors at all times of the day! Get a double double or cheese burger with grilled onions and some animal style fries with grilled onions. If the fries are too soggy for you, you can ask the fries to be “well done”!

In-N-Out Burger is more than just a fast-food chain, it's a California institution, beloved for its simple yet satisfying menu and unwavering commitment to quality. Whether you're a local or a visitor, a stop at In-N-Out is practically a rite of passage. The staff here are a standout, always friendly and efficient, even during the busiest rushes. They handle the chaos of a packed restaurant with ease, ensuring your order is prepared quickly without sacrificing that personal touch. It's a level of service that sets In-N-Out apart from other fast-food joints. As for the food, the burgers are the star of the show. For the price, the portions are generous, and the flavors are consistently enjoyable. While it's still fast food, In-N-Out manages to deliver a fresher, less greasy experience com

Look, I’m from Illinois. We know good food, and we definitely know our way around a fryer (Portillo’s, anyone?). I finally gave in to the West Coast hype and tried In-N-Out, and I have to say, I am genuinely confused. Let’s start with the good: The burger was actually solid. Fresh ingredients, good bun, decent char. I get it. It’s a good burger for the price. But the fries? Absolute trash. I don't know what they do to them, but the texture is all wrong. They taste exactly like those stale, skinny potato shoe strings that used to come in the tin cans. You know the ones—dry, hollow, and like they’ve been sitting in a pantry since 1998. It’s like eating Styrofoam disguised as a vegetable. If I wanted shelf-stable potato snacks, I’d go to the grocery store. Highly disappointed. You can keep th
