Incredibly Delicious

This place is so unique. I love the outside garden area. My breakfast croissant was very good the avocado egg and relish on it were so fresh. The egg potatoes sausage platter was very fresh and delicious. Save room for pastries.

A gem! An old mansion with the ground floor turned into a French café. The baked goods are phenomenal. The character and beauty of the building and the grounds is also charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good. The "really good chocolate chip cookie" is very appropriately named. Family friendly (there's even a few swings built into the entry in the garden!) but would also be a perfect date spot or brunch with friends. Busy and just a small counter to order, but there is a ton of seating.

This place is simply Incredibly Delicious! Wow, was it hard to choose! We ordered so much, and all delicious! Mmm my nee favorite place in Springfield. And the setting is incredible. With the small counter, you are almost crammed at the moment of ordering , faithfully recreating a total European Vibe, for a corner bakery/patisserie. You Have To Come Here, when in Springfield!

Beautiful little hidden gem! 💎 what a cute bakery and cafe! I just love old houses and unique places to eat, so the fact that this one is both is fantastic. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. The little details are what really makes it! This place seems to be a perfect place to grab lunch with a friend and catch up for a while. Or just to bring a book and enjoy a little lunch date with yourself.

This place has really stood the test of time! I'm moving reviews over from Yelp and this one was originally written in 2010: Probably a 3-4 star place in a major metropolitan area but certainly a 5-star place in Springfield. Without a doubt, the best bakery style lunch place for at least a hundred miles in any direction. Quiches are always a good pick. Their house salad comes tossed, not topped, with a slightly sweet dressing. The chicken salad is curried (not sure that was mentioned when ordering) but absolutely great. Opinions on desserts seem to vary by the item and the person. We generally love everything we get from the dessert case but have had a few friends say the appearance did not match the taste.
