This is one of the most consistently good restaurants I've eaten at over many decades of living around Northampton. the menu is full of all sorts of good meals, tea's, lassis, wine, and desserts. Takeout is also fast and great, and the lunch portions are very filling. Almost as large as the dinner portions. The staff are always friendly, kind, and professional. I love the decor and it's always a warm and cozy and relaxed time. The place is often empty, which is extremely surprising to me, but don't let that fool you. It's a great place, especially to grab lunch. The food tends to be on the saucier side of things, the saag is deliciously, creamy and rich which is exactly what I'm looking for. The Biryani is some of the best I've had And the samosas are fantastic. Tandoori meats are fantasti
We had a delicious dinner at India Palace. The food was excellent - deliciously spiced. I was especially touched by the service. We had a disabled person in our party. The staff went out of their way to assure that they were comfortable and had everything they needed. It was wonderful to see how kind they were to them. I would go back for the service alone, but the meal was also excellent. The entire evening was just lovely due to the staff’s care and attention.
Went here for the first time today to pick up 2 of their lunch boxes. I think it might be the best lunch value in Northampton. $9 each for some amazing food AND he held the doors and helped me get my stroller out. Awesome service and food.
experience was terrible, first the fire alarm went off and they couldn’t turn it off until the fire department came so we just stood outside for 15-20 mins until the alarm was turned off and when the food came the fish was so smelly i almost vomited and the so called “butter naan” was just a roti with oil dripping off of it.the chicken tikka masala was mushy and the chicken was raw inside, honestly the worst indian food ive ever had in my life.
The food here was excellent, I have not tried much Indian food. The atmosphere was great with lots of Indian historical and cultural paintings and decorations. They give you choices on spices and sauce incase its to spicy for you, like mild and moderate, etc
