Beautiful beach with fine white sand. Very little parking at $4/2 hours that works best by paying on app in order to add time to the meter in real time. Walkway to the actual beach is ~0.2 mi on the fine white sand that is loose and challenging to walk on and requires beach wheels for wagons. There are no steps to ascend or descend and no public facilities at this location.

We had the best time, I chose this beach access to keep our kids safe and we felt very relaxed here. There are still waves but not like on the ocean front side. I didn’t feel like I had to watch out for water critters too much. The sand is deep and soft so carts need to have wide wheels. If you go in the heat of the day your feet will blister so socks may help with that. Going barefoot from the car would be a big mistake. Paying for parking online was no problem. If you are confused other visitors or locals are usually around to help.

Nice beach and inlet view together. Public parking is difficult to access other than 2 hours at a time so tourists beware of Tybee Parking because viewing the ocean front vs staying at one place can be expensive.

This was a nice quiet beach great for shell and shark teeth hunting. Lots of fun when you go early. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! The sand can get EXTREMELY HOT and there is no boardwalk or anything to walk on and the shaded area is quite far. Your feet WILL BURN if not wearing proper footwear, I learned the hard way walking back on the hottest day of the season in flip flops around 1pm.

Small parking lot but we were able to find a spot. Beautiful views and the water is more shallow and calm so great for swimming!
