Isarn really impressed, starting with the kind service and continuing through every dish that hit our table. Even though it’s a bit out of the way for me, the experience was so great that I returned the next day and will be back for sure! The papaya salad was a standout right from the start: fresh and perfectly tangy, with that bright balance of acidity and heat that's so addicting. Highly recommend the fried snapper! It's beautifully cooked, tender on the inside and light & crispy on the outside. It's a HUGE portion so two people can share (maybe even 3 if you also do apps?) The dipping sauces that come with their dishes are delicious and so flavorful!! They have vegan options, so I also tried the vegan papaya everything salad and it's just as delicious as their regular one. Also notewo

I love the khao soi here. Thai curry egg noodle soup. My friend had the basil tofu. I love that this place has vegan and gf options for those with allergies. The cocktails we had were also lovely.

I met my son and his fiancé for my birthday dinner at Isarn Thai on Queen Anne. We started with the Mushroom Fritter. The fritters were less like traditional fritters but rather individual pieces of fried mushroom. They were similar to fried onions that you put on green bean casserole except much better as they were delicious. I had the Grilled Thai Beef Salad (Yum Nua), which was excellent. The beef (or tofu) salad is my go-to dish at Thai restaurants, and this was one of the best I’ve had. What puts it on top is how they prepared the beef…they grill it to your specification. I had mine medium rare, which was moist and tender. The service was fantastic, as was the atmosphere. Happy Birthday to me!

Stopped by for dinner with a friend. We were treated right away and our order quickly taken! We tried the garlic mushrooms and some wings. Then I got the northern style sweet curry (gang hung lay). Everything was absolutely delicious!

Had ordered fish and crab thai curry with vermicelli noodles and durian sweet sticky rice. The food was overall flavorul. They had also provided a good amount of salad. But i was a bit underwhelmed with the quantity of fish or crab meat in the curry. It was mostly gravy with very less protein.
