Ishtar Gate Troutdale

After living on gas station food while trucking 🚛, I was seriously craving something healthier. Most truck stops only have a few options besides Subway, and when they do offer something decent the price can be crazy depending on the city and state. I’m not paying $20 for a combo meal and drink — you’re tripping 😅. So instead I decided to spend my money at Ishtar Gate Troutdale, and I’m really glad I did. For about the same price, I got fresh, flavorful food that kept me full all day 💪. 🌯 Beef Shawarma Wrap Absolutely amazing. I had never tried shawarma before (I usually grab a gyro), but after this meal I might be switching teams. I’m a truck driver and I always have to try new and different places, and I have been to a lot all over the country. I must say the food was amazing fresh and on point. The lamb shawarma wrap was so delicious lamb melts in your mouth and the Philly cheesesteak had such a great unique taste to it and you have to get the baklava… The owner is a very nice Guy I will definitely be coming back here next time I pass through.
