Island Bagel and Deli

Great bagels, my New Yorker husband was a huge fan. I got their breakfast sandwich, their eggs are cooked so so perfectly! And they serve really good coffee with unlimited refills for $2.75, which is why I was also a huge fan. Awesome place.

Unfortunately I didn't get what I ordered. I ordered a salt bagel and got an everything bagel. I have included a picture of the receipt and the bagel. Thankfully it had the correct cream cheese. My husband got salmon cream cheese. If I had that on my bagel it would have definitely gone back. They were busy and we had an appointment so I didn't have the time to ask them to remake the bagel and wait for it. Their day old bagels are a good deal. You can get a pack of four for $2. They are opening a new Buckwalter location. The open date has not been determined.

Great bagels, good selection of flavors and great price! They carry pumpernickle and Egg bagels which isn't easy to find in the south. Bagels had a good chew on the outside, but no twist /stretch to the inside texture. Great flavor though. Cream cheese was standard. We bought one breakfast bagel with egg and cheese, egg was a little chewy, may have been microwaved, but made from a real egg. My nit picking aside, this is a go-to in the Bluffton area for quality bagels.

Great bagels but I think I have gone for the last time. This weeks bagel was $3.04 for one toasted bagel with butter. I can't understand why they charge people for extra toast and butter. Seems like they are taking advantage of their reputation and I likely will not go to the new location which is closer to me. Nosh is just as good and not as expensive.

The bagels were ok. The restaurant needs some major overhaul. The bathroom looked like it was at a truck stop, very dirty. The restaurant walls and floors were grimy, and there were cheap looking ads on the walls. Very tacky and gross.
