Island Jerk shack LLC

Randomly stopped here during a 12 hour road trip back to Florida and I am so glad we did. The plate on the left is the Size Small Curry Chicken and the one of the right is the Size Express Jerk Chicken. 20/10!!! Im so sad I don’t have this place back at home. Also the pretty bartender/cashier gave excellent service and the place itself was a vibe 🫶🏼

It was Great!! The Atmosphere was Nice as well as our hostess/ server. The food is ABSOLUTELY 💯 Delicious 😋

Jamaican food. I love their goat curry. Chicken curry great too. Oxtail is amazing. Friendly staff and George the owner is great

So I literally just Googled ‘best food in Brunswick,’ and the Island Jerk Shack popped up in the top three. Took a shot on it, and man, it was a total win. We went for the jerk chicken family meal, and you get a crazy amount of food for the price. Everything—the chicken, the cabbage, the rice, those plantains—was just fantastic. If you’re considering it, just do it. You won’t regret it!

Staff was very nice and helpful. We had missed the crowd since it was after lunch. The meals my husband and I had (cornbread, curried chicken and jerk chicken with sides) was so delicious we ate every single bite. Music of different genres played in the background as we dine in. I would love to go back to enjoy some drinks and the small like club feel. Reminds me so much of Jamaica when my husband and I visited.
