Italy's Best III

I ordered the penne w/vodka sauce & I was surprised with how good it was. The sauce was executed well, thick and rich, creamy, honestly better than some I’ve had at much more formal and expensive Italian restaurants. The portion was large, the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, it came with a roll and salad, and the price was great. Would definitely recommend. I don’t know if i look like the kind of guy who would eat a full meal on a 3 hour drive, but i am, so i loved that my takeout was placed inside of a box. Great meal, thank you!

I’m no pizza reviewing pro but they are serving up solid slices of pie. Pepperoni was really nicely done. Came in for dinner and enjoyed my meal.

I gave this place two separate chances and unfortunately had poor experiences both times, mainly due to service and order handling rather than the food itself. First visit: I called ahead and placed a phone order for fettuccine Alfredo. I was told the order would be ready, so I arrived about 25 minutes later. When I got there, the staff had no record of my order and didn’t seem to know what I was referring to. There was no apology or clear explanation — just confusion. I ended up wasting time and leaving frustrated. Second visit: I returned on another day hoping the first experience was just a one-off. I came in to order a couple slices of pizza. First time I ordered the Chicken Franchese & Italys Best Salad. Loved them both. Smoke portions for sharing ir leftovers. Then, I ordered the cheessteak pizza. Absolutely delicious.

If slice life didn’t lie about the price ($11 instead of $18) then it would have easily been 5 stars.
