It's Mama's Family Cafe

Stopped in for an early Sunday lunch. Chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken were both excellent. Fork tender and cooked to perfection. Mashed taters a gravy, oh yeah! Waitress was attentive but not annoying. Food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. Not too salty either. The breading is perfect and flaky. Home cooked goodness! Oh and the corn fritters were yum-a-licious. Place seemed to be clean and welcoming. I haven’t been since new manager took over until today but I highly recommend if you want some delish home cookin’!

We stumbled across this place heading back to Oklahoma. He got the bubba burger and I got the catfish basket. Everything is scratch made and amazing! It was fresh, hot, & delicious. It was a good & clean environment. Everyone was friendly. We will absolutely be back! It’s not often we find a place that we would be willing to travel 3 hours one way just to eat there. We didn’t get photos this time since we were traveling in a hurry but we will next time! The portion sizes & price are awesome as well!

My husband and I had lunch here for the first time on March 20th. and really enjoyed it. I had the special which was fried pork chops and chose the fried okra and the corn nuggets as my sides. The breading on the pork chops and okra was very light, not thick like some places have, the chops were surprisingly moist for being fried, and the corn nuggets were wonderful. My husband chose the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and pinto beans and enjoyed his meal as well. We will definitely come back again.

I hate to admit this but, I've lived in Quinlan for 30 years and had never eaten here until recently. We will be going more often now. Family & kid friendly atmosphere, great menu selections to choose from and good portions. Enough that we took home leftovers 😋. They have game consoles, Pac-Man and others to play on for free. They also have a separate closed in smoking section.

My first time eating there. Their Biscuits and gravy is the bomb. Coffee was hot! Service was a little slow, but they were busy with Saturday morning breakfast rush. I will visit there again.
