Its Waao! Elmwood Park

If I could give it 0 stars I would , worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant , ordering was difficult , they were gonna charge me an extra order , they didn’t have the sides of my order , then the order took 35 minutes to come out and food was horrible and tostones brunt. Cold tortillas , very greasy food , no sour cream for quesadillas. And plate was broken. And expensive for nasty food I usually never write reviews, but I don’t want other people to experience what I just did.

So I work overnight which is why I love to stop in when possible but the service is the most frustrating thing. The cashiers are nice enough but no one ever answers the phone causes me to have to go place the order and wait (15+ min even when they got no customers) making me take even longer to go home after a long 12+ hour shift. I asked why they never answer at night and was informed they stop answering calls after 3 am as people would place orders and not show up. Fair enough. So I started going only when I got out early. Well today was one of those days. I called 11 minutes before and no one answered. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, called again two more times and was met with endless ringing meaning the phones were turned off. Btw they don’t advertise the 3 am policy ANY

Always love me some banana king! Good selection of sandwiches and quick bites items with delicious fruit shakes. Chicken sandwich is my favorite with a mango shake. Can't forget about the empanadas! Cozy dining room with a bar style fruit shakes station. Place is open 24hrs which is great for late night treats. Highly recommend this place.

This place is very beautiful to enjoy with family or friends, it is the first banana king that looks clean and organized. I loved the milkshake and the delicious empanadas. Their staff is very friendly I recommend it a 100% this one.

Great cheese Burger with fries and a tasty mango shake . Vibe here is awesome with the salsa music playing. Columbian guy at the register was helpful and friendly
