I came in with my girlfriend and had an amazing time here and got the $120 omakase. Michael our chef and the other chefs helped hand craft amazing, delicious dishes. They had fresh fish and each dish was crafted with love. The staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely need to try his Chirashi bowl very unique.

Quite a few friends recommended the newly opened Izumi Sushi in Ken Caryl, saying its omasake was quite good, worth a drive from South Denver. Gladly, it's just a short drive west on C470—less than half an hour without traffic. The restaurant was right next to the highway exit, at the former Okinawa location. The place was very spacious, with marble tables and countertop and faux wood flooring giving it a clean, crisp look. The lighting was excellent—nothing like many other dim and somber spots in town. Ordered the $80 omasake and the not commonly found dobin mushi (teapot soup). The soup, prepared with fresh fish and a variety of other seafood, was quite distinctive and savory. The sushi is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. Easily one of my go-to sushi spots — highly recommend.
