This is my second time at J-Bistro because their food doesn’t disappoint and they somehow always mak dishes I can eat! I used to search high and low for Jangjangmyun that I can actually eat (without pork) and low and behold - JBistro makes it not only without pork (with Beef) but they have the best flavor in Atlanta for non-pork options that I’ve had. This time around the waiter recommend the Beef Ganguo (photographed with the veggies) and it was spicy and delish!!! Such a great recommendation because it was balanced. My friend ordered Beef Tangsuyuk (fried beef strips with Sweet & Sour sauce) and it was yummy as well. I don’t think you can miss with JBistro. I recommend everyone to try and the staff is always sooo nice!!
Came with my wife and we had the braised pork bun the wontons in hot sauce I ordered the beef ganguo and asked for it to be extra spicy my wife ordered the spicy noodle soup and we had the hot tea, the braised pork buns were the best with good layered flavor everything else fell flat and had little to no flavor.
Amazing authentic Chinese food. Prices are low compared to the quality and quantity of a dish. Most dishes can be shared by 2 folks so ask. Quick service. Don't be afraid of the chilli and spice in the pictures online...it's not hot but more flavourful. They have some of the standard Chinese stuff but they shine in the authentic ones. Easy on the wallet especially for families or casual date night.
If I could give this place six stars, I would. This is hands down the best Sichuan cuisine in Atlanta. I highly recommend going during the lunch special (1:30–3:00 PM), where you get an entree, a spring roll, and soup for just $12. I had the hot boiled fish, and it was absolutely delicious. There’s plenty of seating, even during lunch hours, making it a great spot for both big and small groups. The food is outstanding, and one of the best parts is the large window where you can watch the chefs at work—an added bonus to an already fantastic dining experience.
Their soy sauce braised pork belly with tofu is phenomenal. Every dish was solid, especially the beef stir fried rice noodles which had a great smoky wok hei flavor.
