J. Christopher's Woodstock

I recently had an outstanding breakfast at J. Christopher’s in Woodstock, GA (315 Chambers St), and I can’t recommend it highly enough—especially if you’re looking for excellent gluten-free options! The breakfast overall was top-notch: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What really stood out was their thoughtful gluten-free accommodations. They handled my needs with care, and the star of the show was the delicious gluten-free Belgian waffle—crispy on the outside, light and fluffy inside, and absolutely satisfying. It was one of the best GF waffles I’ve had anywhere! Our server, Sarah, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu modifications, and just a joy to have taking care of us. I ordered the cornbeef hash, eggs and potatoes. Food quality was great, everything was cooked perfectly. The three stars is about the scarcity of hash vs. potatoes. You can see what I left in the skillet, tons of potatoes. I can appreciate the hash is likely more expensive than potatoes, but I didn't order eggs and potatoes. Addison, our server was OUTSTANDING. Prompt, courteous, listened well, and checked on us several times. I like the restaurant, would likely come back but order something different.

We had a great time at J. Christopher’s in downtown Woodstock! The moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed brunch with friends. The menu had so many delicious options; we especially loved the traditional and pancakes — both were flavorful and beautifully presented. The coffee stayed coming, which we appreciated, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The only hiccup was finding parking downtown (it’s a busy area!), but it was totally worth it once we were inside. Definitely a go-to spot for breakfast or a laid-back brunch when you’re in Woodstock!

I had such a wonderful experience at J. Christopher’s! The food was absolutely delicious everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The service was top notch, everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My friend and I really like coming here for breakfast/brunch so we meet here about once a month or so. The service is always great, the atmosphere is laid back and eclectic yet refined, the seating is spacious with tables and booths. Today (Jan 1, 2025) we came in about 1pm, and didn't have to wait for a seat. For my entree I had the Eggs Christopher which is poached eggs on roasted turkey, bacon and tomato on an English muffin; very good flavors all together. I had the side of fruit and the blueberry crunchcakes which I always order because they are delicious and a perfect blend of sweet crunchy and blueberry.
