J &J Fish and Chicken

Love the food here but I found a bug seasoned with one of my fries. I didn’t complain to the workers there. Still ate the food just want people to be aware that this place isn’t the cleanest. There may be more bugs back there to be honest. The fried chicken never misses here though

It taste like low effort. Everything deep fried in grease, no vegetables. It looks golden brown, the seasoning is good, the quantity for the price is good, just something to eat and scratch your fried food itch. I wouldn’t recommend eating this type of food often. Frozen from the bag fish lacks substance. The things they do could be done better along with changing to more fresh fish option. All over the Hoods.

The food was okay. But the drink was completely a waste of $4.00. N they wouldn’t even give me extra juice. They said I have to buy another drink! Yeah okay not me! I wouldn’t mind paying something but not the full amount. I won’t be back!

I did not enjoy the plate I ordered. It was the fish, chicken and shrimp plate, which I door dashed the order. Nothing tasted fresh. The fish was fried way too hard! The shrimp was over breaded! I didn't eat the wings. This was not a cheap meal, and I didn't get a couple of hush puppies, or a couple more extra packets of tartar sauce? Not to mention the tiny amount of slaw I was given! Not good at all!

My friend had brought some tilapia over from JJ one night and I’ve been hooked ever since😍 Tonight I had a craving for some fried fish and decided to try their whiting! I can't really complain (I do prefer the tilapia though). Thank ya'll for your fried mushrooms 😍😍😍😍😍 those were on point! That 2 oz mild sauce though 👎🏾 that was my own greedy fault. The hot sauce that comes with the fried fish is so good with my lil fish sandwiches. I fooled myself into believing that I was going to get 2 oz of that same sauce (knowing it said mild) 🤦🏾‍♀️ Ordered the fried chicken and fries for my daughter. The fries were yummy and the chicken looked delicious. Will definitely be coming back when I want some fried fish!
