We bought the 100 day rice cake, it was amazing. Very authentic. Best shop in NorCal by far.

I tried Songpyun through Ploma for Korean Thanksgiving day,it was so delicious!I only want to go to this store in the future.In particular, the dough was sticky and good.

The woman wasn't that nice... I didn't feel much welcomed. I was expecting at least a catalog of rice cakes so that I can select which I can order - there weren't any. Her voice was mixed with frustration and I felt I should leave immediately. Her knowing that I don't have much experience in buying rice cake, I felt some vanity in her attitude which somewhat made me upset. Still, since it was the closest place from where I live and I had to order a batch (10lbs) for my brother in law... She did not receive credit cards- only cash or checks.. I preferred credit card. She emphasized she was in this business for 25 years - which I think she somehow lost the passion for customers during that time. I would rather go to the place in San Jose despite the long drive.. (I live in San Leandro) o

We could not stop eating them! Sweet without being overly sugary and balanced nicely with perfect chewy texture. So many places sell them, but this is the only place I've found where they taste homemade and delicious. I am definitely placing an order for a party tray for my babies 100 day celebration, her 1st birthday and then just because. Business owned by a kind family who's been working hard at the craft for decades. Once this places closes we will lose a gem so get them while you still can!
