Jack in the Box

Ordered my food through the drive through, no one in line but me, and this is what I got after 10 minutes of waiting. Cold burger and cold fries. The lady at the window handed me my food and said good night. I didn’t eat the burger. So cold felt like it was just put together and sat there until they felt like giving it to me. No toasted bread, cold meat and cold fries. Worst service ever.

More than likely not going to eat here anylonger. Last 3 times the food was sub-par. My wife's chicken sandwich was 89 percent grisly inedible junk. My burger was super dry. Just over the poor quality from this eatery. I guess if I want good fast food I'll have to go to Dallas or anyplace not Ennis.

Stopped here at 11:00 while driving through Ennis to get a flat tire repaired driving from DFW to Houston. Ordered a Sourdough Jack. It was apparent it had been pre-made way earlier and slapped on a griddle to reheat. Only one side of the sandwich was slightly warm, the other was cold. Wish I had read the reviews. Only about 6 out of approximately 24 drink choices were available. Service was as minimal as possible. Store was relatively empty. Obviously not in rush mode. Sandwiches should have been fresh this early in the lunch hour.

I just happened to be back in Ennis after being gone for quite some time. I was craving what used to be my favorite cheeseburger. The ultimate cheeseburger. They ruined the best cheeseburger. Not sure what happened to the ultimate cheeseburger. It used to be these greasy 100% ground beef patties on a seaseme seed bun. Now its some kind of overly processed dried up patties on a dry bun with some kind of weird onion sauce. Guess I'll take tgis off my list unless they ever bring back the original.

Not even worthy of one star but I had to put one in order to post. Tried for two days to call with a menu question about the "special" advertised on TV for 2 Tacos for .75 cents. Finally drove there went inside only to be told "lots of people have been asking but we are not doing that". I mentioned the phone and was told "it don't work, they supposed to come fix it but we don't know when. Funny, on one number we found for them said "the mailbox is full". Another number we found just gave a busy signal multiple times. The workers seemed happy to stand around and talk as there was not one single customer on the lot. I left empty handed which probably made them happy too. Next is a call to corporate.
