Jack's Hamburgers

My buddy and I spent the day riding Mt Bikes in Santa Cruz. I’m not completely sure where we were riding but it was just above the ocean and we eventually rode past an area growing huge brussell sprouts. And we got to witness another biker crash into a huge puddle so the day was very entertaining. Before driving home we stopped for a bite at Jacks and it’s the perfect local burger joint in Santa Cruz. If I lived here, I’d come to Jacks all the time. The fries are great, the burgers are great and the ambiance is perfect. We sat outside and felt our day could not have gone better.

Burgers are absolutely good! Dog friendly and has a parking lot with a few spots at the back. It has outdoor sitting and nice folks working there. However no public restrooms, if you go from the beach directly there don’t expect to find a sink to wash your hands. They could put at least some public sink for folks to wash their hands. There was a sanitizer machine though and it was working . It had lots of shady outdoor sitting area.

Hands down the best regular cheeseburger sold im santa cruz. Especially for the price. A burger and basket was about $12 which these days is a good deal. The meat is nice and juicy and the produce is crisp and fresh. Also good fried. The other things ive had there are pretty damn good too but I keep coming back for the regular cheeseburger.

The diablo burger is one of the best from their menu. I really enjoyed the bacon, avocado and jalapenos. Size of the burger is good and they give a lot of french fries. Also, staff is friendly and helpful.

Wonderful little burger place in downtown Santa Cruz! You can't go wrong with Jack's , they're a popular delicious stop when you're craving a good burger or sandwich. Lots of delicious options and wonderful staff to take your order. You can sit outside or inside to enjoy your meal. The only downside is no bathroom.
