JAH B - Authentic Jamaican Food

This place is typically very good. Not sure what happened tonight but the salmon is WAY over cooked. Dryer than yah muddah. I couldn't eat it even though it was absolutely SMOOTHERED in pepper jelly. No thanks. Everything else is great: rice and peas, plantain, Mac and cheese, pepper steak, and cabbage. I'll try again another time but I hope this isn't the salmon's new recipe.

The food was on point!! I had the oxtail and my husband has the jerk! Oxtail was rich in flavor, small amount of heat and the gravy was nice on the rice and peas! The jerk had the heat you expect! Highly recommend this place!

I recently had the pleasure trying great food and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what would be a flavorful and satisfying meal. I ordered the classic jerk chicken which was smoky, tender, and packed with just the right amount of heat. Curry chicken, The spices had clearly been marinated deeply into the meat, giving each bite a rich, authentic taste. Paired with rice and peas and steamed cabbage, the dish felt hearty and true to its roots. The fried plantains were a sweet contrast to the spice of the mains — caramelized just right. So good.. food was very hot and fresh. Tastes clean too if that makes sense and reasonable pricing. Great portion.. Will be back for sure

Hands down the best Jamaican restaurant in the area! We ordered the stewed chicken, island fried chicken with oxtail gravy and fried plantain... 5/5 First time ordering, definitely not the last. I ordered on Doordash. Their customer service is so good that they called me to ask which gravy to put on the chicken. JUST WOW!!!!
