Jakes sports bar & African Restaurant

My first time trying Liberian Food. I had potato greens with chicken and rice. It was some new spices for me but reminded me of saag/palak from Desi cuisine. The owners were very friendly and gave good service. While the food was delicious, the ambiance was lacking. The restaurant wasn’t very fancy or clean, and another local place called AniRose seems to have better ambiance. Still, I can give no less than an excellent rating given how nice the staff were. This was obviously a local gathering spot for the local West African community.
