Jalisco's Mexican Restaurant (Lo Mejor De Jalisco)

The queso is just that….cheese. Hard cheese that will bounce your chip right off it like a trampoline. I couldn’t believe it was $13 and yes I took it right back and got a cash refund. I would be curious to know how they priced this when the carne fries was a whole lot of fries, carne asada, tomatoes, onions, sour cream, guac, cilantro for $4 more than a tub of cheese. I’m giving two stars bc the other foods were decent and had no problems with the refund and the employees were kind.

Came here on a referral, but unfortunately this will be my first and last visit. I ordered a margarita and asked for a decent tequila since the house option was very low-end. I did not ask for a premium tequila, yet was charged $16 per margarita, which felt excessive for what was served. The ambiance is very poor—extremely basic and not pleasant to be in. Overall, it does not justify the menu prices. I eat out frequently and am familiar with fair pricing. I ordered a chicken tostada salad. The shell and chicken were acceptable, but the dish was bland, and the guacamole had virtually no flavor. Easily the best meal I’ve had in my traveling career. Was recommended to stop here and check out the seafood and oh my, the food was out of this world!! Told the staff what I was hoping to try and they had an immediate recommendation as to what to try. I’ve never had a better seafood experience anywhere else! Not only was the food expertly crafted and seasoned but I had the best tasting margarita I’ve had in my life. I’ve been to 35 different states and I still think about going back to this place for more! Thank you so much for such an extraordinary culinary experience. Do yourself a favor and stop on by here and have a great meal I cannot recommend this place enough. The menu has so much to offer and they even have vegetarian options with plenty of flavor

I go here all the time for Taco Tuesday which is excellent. Lots of meat and even at full price a good deal! Literally you can make 2 tacos out of 1. Ordered to go chicken enchiladas dinner and Albondigas soup. Enchiladas just so so. There’s more meat on the street taco and the sauce ok. Unfortunately only one size soup so $17. Need a small size. I may try something else at some point but for me strictly street tacos from now on.

Excellent food! Fish tacos were delicious (I got the fried fish instead of grilled). Service was quick. I would eat there again.
