⭐️ 1-Star Review (would give 0 if I could) Jam Icons in New Jersey was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The food was horrible — the “fried” chicken tasted like it was dunked straight into fish oil, and the jerk chicken was hard, cold, and completely flavorless. I wouldn’t even give this to a dog. No seasoning, no freshness, no care in preparation — just a total waste of time and money. Easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.

I usually get the curry chicken and rice or oxtails and became a regular customer. The food is good, but I stopped coming here because the woman that usually works here has a very nasty attitude, especially when you ask for more food for their prices. But today I tried it one more time. The plaintains looked dry as if they had been sitting for hours and he lied and said they were just made. They charge you $22 for oxtail & tried to give me only 4 small pieces, and when I asked for more rice and he continued to lie and said it wouldn't fit it in the container but there was still plenty of space after he closed it up. Meanwhile, the container isn't even that big to begin with and its supposed to be a medium size. They are very stingy with their food to be charging such high prices. I see why

Ordered this food from Uber Eats and literally highly disappointed. I will never order from here again. First and foremost, the rice is hard (either not cooked enough and or old rice from the bottom of the pot), cold (the place is literally around the corner and shouldn’t have arrived to me this cold and the chicken is warm) and definitely old. Your establishment should be embarrassed for the service you’ve provided. Then have no customer service when I speak to her on the phone (oh when you order again, let us know and we’ll) what are you going to do (make sure the rice is fresh or not hard (you’ve should have never served this rice this way in the first place. Ordered via Uber eats and it was so bad. For Curry goat they gave curry chicken, they didn't include 2 orders of sweet plantain, the drink i requested i was given a different one and the jerk chicken was stale old chicken and they didn't bother to put gravy on the rice. Like who eats white rice and cabbage plain. Overall not a good experience and will not be ordering again.

5 ⭐ for the flavors, no doubt! I ordered Rasta pasta with jerk chicken and cabbage (not pictured) and every bite was flavor-FULL!! 😋 I also tried an OXTAIL PATTY because 👀 Whaaaaaat??!! Like a beef patty but with shredded oxtail meat && Oh My Goodness!! 🤤 I tried to save some for later but that thought was a dubb. Idk what type of magic sis sprinkled in but she secured a returning customer for sure. Parking is easy to find and the menu selection and prices are unbeatable.
