Jamaican Delight

Hands down the best Jamaican food in Polk County! Service was excellent! Food was hot & fresh! We ordered 2 jerk plates, 1 curry chicken & 1 brown stew fish! My entire family loved the food! We will be back! Big up to the chefs! Definitely bringing more family soon!

I ordered the plate of rice and peas, cabbage, and jerk chicken. The price was super cheap!!! The potion was amazing!!! The food was good, it wasn’t great but let’s be real it’s good food!!! The jerk chicken flavor was a little different, it has a A1 flavor to it but still good! The rice and peas topped with ox tail sauce is great!!! Corn bread was good just not warm… And cabbage was a little undercooked and unseasoned but overall it was good!!! People are polite!!!

The servers were extremely nice and friendly. However, the food was not good. The oxtail were tough and did not fall off the bone. It was actually a struggle to get them off the bone and were not tender (the gravy was good though). The cabbage was a little too hard for our liking and flavorless and the rice and peas were also hard. It just seems as if they might cook everything in a rush and not take time for quality food. We wouldn’t try this place again even though they were nice.

Excellent food and quick, good service. It's in the mall is the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars. I got the Oxtail meal and it was delicious. I paid about 23 dollars for a very large portion of cooked cabbage, rice, and Oxtail. It could easily feed 2 people.

So i paid $15 for a plate of curry chicken and im so pissed off. The lady that fixed my plate only gave me a little bit of chicken and I complained about it. I get to my car to eat and the chicken was pinkish. Just a waste of money. Im not sure if crunchy cabbage is a thing but it was so nasty.
