James Coney Island

LOOK OUT HOUSTON, This is the best hotdog spot around! IVE ALWAYS enjoyed a good classic American hotdog so when I seen James Coney Island it was definitely the place to be. The inside is very cute, it’s almost like an old school dinner. The menu had so many options and I was happy to see there were other food selections available for the other members of my family who didn’t want a hotdog. The quality was mouthwatering the serving size was perfect. Prices were not bad at all definitely will be returning and give the other options a try! I excited to see what I get next! Only thing left to say is the food was perfect, service was perfect, and food came out very quickly. Here are some photos regarding the atmosphere.

I went to visit during $.99 Coney day. The hot dogs did not disappoint. The guy handing out the food was rude. He didn't say anything to me. Even after I told him "thank you", he didn't even respond. Update: 9/23/25 I went back here again today. I feel like places like this don't learn their lesson. You've had so many locations go out of business and this one may be next. The cashier just completely sucked. If you're gonna have a rewards program, please educate your cashier on how it works. I had a birthday reward to use in the cashier told me that those didn't exist. Once I showed him it did he didn't have anything to say. Why not just ask your manager for help if you don't know. He wasn't very friendly and had zero personality. I went on my lunch break for a Walker St. Combo, stating no onions on the coneys and add chili/cheese to the fries. That order was repeated back to me - their standard protocol - and the wait time was a little over 4 minutes once I pulled up to the window. However, upon leaving I could smell onions and at the next light confirmed there were onions on the coneys. (Yes, I normally check the order before driving off, but its always been my experince that this almost never happens at JCI). I immediately called the store when I got to my office and explained what had happened, and I was told to bring the food back for replacement. I'm sorry, I cannot do that as this was my lunch break and I dont want the food replaced after work when I'm heading home with dinner around the corner. I was also di

First time here, small portions fairly priced. Food came out quick, but I was the only one that wasn’t given a thank you when I walked up to the pick up area.

The food was ok. The all beef hotdogs were delcious! The corn dogs were fried to perfection. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with great flavor. The chili cheese fries and tots were ok. They didn't have much flavor. The regular chili dogs did not taste very good. Almost like they really had no flavor. The soft drinks were flat with no carbonation. I would not recommend this specific restaurant.
