Small quaint place with a subtle welcoming feel. The service was quick and the server was friendly and welcoming. The lunch combo was great, actually a decent amount of food for a good price. The beef skewers were perfectly cooked, so tender, the sweet caramel marinade with a hint of lemongrass made the skewers a perfect combo with the extra spicy Laos style papaya salad. The sticky rice with the umami flavored fish sauce and padek sauce from papaya salad was perfect. It’s no mystery why this place is still here and has 4.5 stars. Must go place for Lao food.
Hands down one of my new favorite places to eat! . Quality of food: 10/10 🔥🙌🏽 Pricing: super reasonable and fair! Serving size: This big boy was able to bring left-overs home!! We’ll be back!!!
Tried them last night for the first time. Never had Thai or Laotian cuisine before. Been watching the Ken burns Vietnam war documentary lately and it made me want to try southeast Asian food lol. I got the Laotian sausage and drunken noodles. The sausage tasted like MAMA ramen noodles which is a good thing lol and the drunken noodles reminded me of chow mein kinda. If given a choice between chow mein and drunken noodles im definitely choosing drunken noodles Drunken noodles > chow mein 😋
Amazing food. Tonight's fare was Crying Tiger Steak. As always, the sauce was delicious
Food was great, service could've been a little better. Overall it was good, definitely recommend and would go back. My wife & I ordered the Lao Sausage, Lemongrass Beef Skewers, Waterfall Steak, Crying Tiger Steak, Papaya Salad and Nam Khao. Steak was tender and had a good flavor, only downside was the jeow son was watered down but besides that everything was good.
